JEDDAH — Minister of Commerce and Industry Tawfiq Al-Rabiah is expected to appoint Saleh Abdullah Kamel chairman of the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI) for another term, informed sources told Okaz/Saudi Gazette. The newly elected JCCI board will meet in the next few days to select the chairman and his deputies. Mazin Batterjee will become deputy chairman and Abdullah Marei Bin Mahfouz second deputy chairman, the sources added. None of the eight female candidates won the JCCI elections that concluded Thursday. Rania Salama topped their list with 187 votes, followed by Fatin Bundugji (146) and Sarah Al-Ayed (111). The other women each polled less than 20 votes.
