With reference to the article "Adhere to Jinnah's ideals to attain progress, Pakistanis told" (Dec. 29), I praise the Saudi Gazette for covering the function that remembered Pakistan's founder and father of the nation, Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah. He was truly a great leader and revolutionary. Without him, there could have been no Pakistan. Thanks also to the Pakistan Repatriation Council (PRC) for remembering the stranded Pakistanis and Kashmiris. I pray to Allah that their issues can be resolved soon. Syed Ghanzanfar Hussain, Online response II. Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah was a great leader of subcontinent India who stood for the rights of Muslims and, in very short period, he succeeded in securing freedom for Pakistan. However, it is sad that we have failed to fulfill his dream and message of unity, faith and discipline. In fact, we are on the path of degradation. I appeal to Nawaz Sharif to repatriate the patriotic Pakistanis since they are living in a very bad condition in Bangladesh, under humiliation and persecution. Mohammad Khalid, Online response III. It is true that without Jinnah, Pakistan was not possibly created. But he also said that without the sacrifices of the Muslims of India, the Bihar movement would not succeed. We have left in Bangladesh those people who sacrificed twice and are waiting for their legitimate right to be repatriated home. Mohammad Iftikharuddin, Lahore
