Hashish smuggling foiled

JAZAN — Al-Tiwal Border Guard officers thwarted an attempt to smuggle contraband drugs into the Kingdom and seized 15 kilograms of hasish. The smugglers, three Yemenis, dropped the bags of hashish and ran back to the Yemeni borders before being arrested. It was difficult to close in on them as they were very close to the border. The vigilant officers continue to foil smuggling attempts from Yemen on an almost daily basis. — Okaz photo
