Sharma, who is the producer and host of Comedy Nights with Kapil on Colors, has successfully carved a niche for himself in the highly competitive Indian entertainment industry. The 32-year-old's success came after a lot of struggle; he was rejected twice for at the nominations stage of Star One's popular The Great Indian Laughter Challenge show (the channel has since been renamed Life OK). But the relentless Sharma not only entered the third season but won it as well. Top Bollywood celebrities are often seen promoting their movies on Sharma's show, banking on his popularity.
