Investors from France have been in Al-Jouf to discuss tourism investment opportunities in the region. The investors met recently with marketing specialist Ibrahim Al-Ali from the region's tourism development body and Majid Al-Shabanah, member of the marketing administration at the General Commission for Tourism and Antiquities, to discuss the region's tourism potential with travel agency managers. The French visitors were given a tour of some of the area's historical sites, including Za'abal and Al-Rajajeel forts in Sakaka, Marid Fort, Omer Mosque and Al-Bohairah in Domat Al-Jandal, as they assessed the tourism potential of the local culture. The French delegation remarked on the area's landscape and culture, describing it as attractive to sections of the European market, particularly the desert areas and Bedouin culture. – Okaz __
