As part of SEDCO Group's continuous efforts to develop innovation, and to build the skills and capabilities of team members, the group organized a SEDCO Team event under the theme “Together Everyone Achieves More” at Bay La Sun Hotel, King Abdullah Economic City. More than 90 employees including CEOs and VPs from various operating companies within SEDCO Group participated. The attendees participated in various knowledge based activities in an effort to develop innovation between teams. These exercises also harnessed skills and capabilities to facilitate cross-functional and cross-organizational work among companies within the Group. Outdoor activities added an element of fun to the team building exercises. Anees Moumina, CEO of SEDCO Holding Group, said the event was the group's efforts to improve functional performance among team members, and encourage them to take initiatives and not to give up when faced with challenges. He also urged the participants to always keep learning and cooperate with each other in order to reach higher productivity levels. He added that managers should be the source of inspiration for their employees. “This event was successful from all angles; the program and activities were diversified and participants gained the necessary skills and tools to enhance creativity levels, improve the work environment and increase quality of communication between the Group's various companies,” he added. — SG
