JEDDAH — The Jeddah Ladies Club (JLC) recently organized a ladies get-together to celebrate its third anniversary at Brasa De Brazil Saturday here.
The event was attended by local businesswomen and working ladies from different professions.
A series of exciting games and quiz competitions were held for ladies' entertainment; the winners were presented with gifts sponsored by the JLC founder.
Varni Ganesh, wife of Pranav Ganesh, consular at Consulate General of India was the chief guest at the event.
"I have been in touch with many ladies with different nationalities, their complains are same, their pains are same, their stress is same, but their thoughts are not the same. Our thoughts create our destiny, our minds are filled with our responsibilities. But we should give five minutes to ourselves to think about ourselves peacefully within ourselves, it will help you a lot."
She added: "If we can raise a child, we can raise this world in different level. We should recognize ourselves and should always be positive."
The guest of honor was Syeda Tanveer Fatima, wife of Mir Gazanfar Ali Zaki, general secretary of Indian Youth Welfare Association (IYWA) and executive secretary and sectoral committee head of Energy, Power & Water of Saudi Indian Business Network under the Patronage of Consulate General of India.
