door match, Al-Nasr drew with Al-Ittihad 2-2 in the fourth round of the Saudi Premier league at the Prince Faisal Bin Fahd Stadium in Riyadh on Wednesday.
Mohammed Noor of Ittihad and Ahmed Al-Mobarak scored a brace each.
The match, however, witnessed no fans at the stadium after the Saudi Football Federation decided to ban fans attending the match because of a riot that occurred during Al-Ittifaq and Al-Nasr match in Dammam last week.
Al-Ittihad was the better side in the first half especially after the team's captain Mohammed Noor converted a penalty to the right side of Al-Nasr goalkeeper Mohammed Al-Kawjali in the 27th minute.
In the 45th minute, Brazilian Elton sent a cross between Al-Ittihad defenders to an unmarked Ahmed Al-Mobarak who shot the ball to the right side of Al-Ittihad goalkeeper.
Mohammed Noor regained the lead two minutes later. His shot almost from midfield area found the net of an advancing goalkeeper Al-Kawjali.
After the break, Al-Nasr earned the equalizer in the 63rd minute when Al-Mobarak blasted home from inside the box to draw level the game.
Despite the draw, Al-Ittihad maintained the top spot with 10 points, just one point ahead of its rival Al-Hilal which beat Al-Watani 3-1 at the King Khaled Sports City in Tabuk.
Al-Nasr, however, slipped to fourth place with eight points.
In Tabuk, Ahmed Al-Swaileh put Al-Hilal ahead with a goal in the 20th minute before he doubled the lead ten minutes after the break.
Al-Watani reduced the margin in the 73rd minute through Yahya Al-Kabi but Mohammed Al-Shalhoub sealed the win in the 98th minute from the spot.
At the Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Stadium in Jeddah, Taiser Al-Jassim and Brazilian striker Harison helped Al-Ahli record its second win in the league after beating Najran 2-0.
Al-Ahli with this win moved to the fifth place with seven points, four points ahead of the eighth placed Najran.
In another match, Al-Shabah won 1-0 over Al-Ittifaq at the King Fahd International Stadium and Al-Hazm also recorded its first victory in the league after beating the promoted Al-Raed in Al-Rass.
At the Prince Sultan Bin Abdul Aziz Sports City in Asir, Abha scored in the dying minute to draw 2-2 with the Al-Wehdah. __
