With reference to the article "I was crying: OIC chief after meeting Rohingya" (Nov. 18), the United Nations (UN) must take action against Myanmar to restore human dignity among the Muslim community amid the heinous acts of Buddhists in that country. Unite and disseminate the beauty and goodness of Islam throughout the world. Selina, Online response II. I can see that the OIC feels the pain of Muslims. But crying can't do anything to help alleviate the sufferings of Muslims who are experiencing difficulties across the world. Actually, I have never noticed many cases of Muslim sufferings that the OIC has solved. I suggest that the more than 50 Muslim countries to form some sort of a Muslim United Force (MUF) to solve problems involving Muslims. Don't expect the UN to do that because it wasn't formed to help the Muslims but the non-Muslims. Syed Noorul Hasan, Online response III. Buddhism is supposed to be a peaceful religion but how can a nation of Buddhists torture the Muslim minorities who have been living in Myanmar for centuries. History is their witness. I appeal to all Muslim leaders in the world to visit that place every now and then and tell its officials to remind the Buddhists that their religion is supposed to be a religion of peace and should allow the Rohingyas to stay there in peace and harmony.
