Embraer said on Saturday that it has delivered the first Embraer 195 jet to nasair aviation of Saudi Arabia. Moreover, the airline will operate three Embraer 190s and two Embraer 195s under a leasing agreement with GE Commercial Aviation Services (GECAS). The Embraer 195 delivered to nasair features a comfortable, single-class configuration with 118 seats. “Today's delivery heralds the beginning of new and exciting developments for nasair's successful business model,” said Ed Winter, CEO of nasair aviation. “We are very excited to receive our first E-jet - the catalyst for our aggressive growth, which will enable us to expand our domestic activity and take us to new regions in the Middle East.” The family of E-jets airlines is growing in the Middle East and customers are reporting a very positive passenger acceptance. Combined with the firm ordeer for five Embraer 190 during the Dubai Airshow ast November, the nasair E-jets fleet totalled 10 aircraft.
