Dr. Turki Faisal Al Rasheed, Chairman of Golden Grass, Inc. – a leading Saudi agro-chemical company, will be joining a panel of heads of government, ministerial and governmental personnel, international business leaders, decision makers and experts drawn from all over the world, to discuss wealth creation and social development in the Commonwealth, Indian Ocean and SAARC. The Commonwealth Business Forum (CBF) will take place in Colombo, Sri Lanka on Nov. 12-14, 2013 in conjunction with the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM). The CBF is co-organized by the Commonwealth Business Council (CBC) and the government of Sri Lanka and forms a part of the overall CHOGM program. It will provide a valuable opportunity for high-level dialogue on trade and investment between business and government leaders from the Commonwealth and beyond. The Forum will be opened by the President of Sri Lanka, and will be addressed by Commonwealth Heads of Government. Al Rasheed will be making a presentation and speech during the plenary session in “Developing the Rural Economy for Sustainable Growth”. Al Rasheed will argue that sustainable agricultural development is vital for the enhancement of food security, alleviation of poverty and promotion of economic growth in rural areas. — SG
