King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, will inaugurate on Saturday the first Makkah Al-Mukarramah Leading Development Projects Exhibition. To be held in north Cornice on a 115,000-square-meter area, the exhibition aims to highlight the development that Makkah region is witnessing during the era of the wise leadership. “This exhibition is the first-of-its-kind in Makkah region which includes a big number of massive projects that are being implemented in King Abdullah's time,” Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, Emir of Makkah region, said. He added that those projects assures the King's support to all development projects that would achieve prosperity and growth to the Kingdom. “The leadership's inauguration of this exhibition adds another importance that reflects the King's keenness to back projects that would certainly help in our nation's growth and generate job opportunities for our sons to take part in the overall development,” he said. The exhibition will showcase the current massive projects as well as those that will be implemented in the near future. Visitors, investors and developers will have a chance to get to know and see these projects. The exhibition will be open to visitors for three months. It is estimated that some 500,000 visitors would be seen in the exhibition. __
