The Border Guards on Saturday recovered the bodies of six members of the same family drowned at sea off the Jizan coast. The family from Sharourah had been enjoying a day at Jizan beach when the father went swimming and got into difficulties caused by strong waves and currents. His wife entered the water in an attempt to rescue her husband and found herself similarly struggling with the turbulent waters, before their four daughters tragically followed their parents. The bodies of the family were later taken to the morgue at Jizan Hospital.
