five folklore groups will present traditional dances in the remaining days of Eid festivities. Sami Nawar, Director General of Tourism and Culture at Jeddah Municipality, said 25 foreign communities will perform their traditional dances. “The folk dances will begin every day after 8 P.M. in Al-Balad , Al-Nawras Roundabout, Old Airport, Corniche and Al-Safa Disrict near Aziz Mall,” Nawar said. The Jeddah Festival this year will also witness baseball games to be organized at TRIPLE M Sports Facility on King Abdul Aziz Road, featuring two international professional baseball teams from Brazil and Europe. Jeddah Corniche is set to burst into color, light and sound with the skies being filled with more than 10,000 fireworks launched daily from three different locations. Muhammad Al-Yami, head of the publicity committee for the Obhur Festival and supervisor for the Jeddah Governorate activities, said spectators will have a choice of nine fireworks displays during the remaining festival days. The displays begin at 11 P.M. in north Obhur, and in front of the Hilton Hotel on Jeddah's Corniche and opposite Abraq Al-Raghama. The fireworks have now become a permanent feature in all the festivals held by the Jeddah Municipality. The displays over the years have enchanted the citizens and the thousands of visitors to the Bride of the Red Sea. __
