AL-AHSA — Over nine million male and female students from general, technical and vocational, higher and special education schools will resume classes Monday morning after the end of the 11-day Eid Al-Adha vacation. The spokesman of the Ministry of Education, Muhammad Saad Al-Dukhaini, said the number of male and female students, according to preliminary statistics for the current academic year is 117,000 in kindergartens, over 2.5 million in the primary school, 1.1 million in the intermediate stage, over 1.1 million in the secondary stage, 27,000 in special education, 83,000 in adult education and more students in technical and vocational training and private and government higher education institutions. — SG
