Sectarianism: The hidden enemy of Islam

I am writing with regard to the report "Stay away from sectarianism and chaos, Grand Mufti tells Muslims" (Oct. 15). The Grand Mufti's call to Muslims to avoid sectarianism and for all the Ummah to come together to abide by the Holy Qur'an and the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is most welcome. This is the only source of an ultimate solution for the present day turmoil in the Middle East and other countries of the world, which has given rise to the spread of terrorism.
Saudi Arabia should be the flag-bearer in the fight to eradicate sectarianism from Muslims all over the globe as it is the land of the two Holy Mosques where Islam was born.
