SUNRISE, Florida — Ben Scrivens made 20 saves for his third career shutout and the Los Angeles Kings beat the Florida Panthers 3-0 Sunday. Jordan Nolan had a goal and an assist. Justin Williams and Daniel Carcillo also scored for the Kings, who won their third straight game. Scrivens, acquired in a trade with Toronto in June, made his first start of the season. Regular goalie Jonathan Quick rested while Scrivens recorded his first shutout since a 3-0 victory for the Maple Leafs at Florida on Feb. 18. Jacob Markstrom had 26 saves for Florida, which has lost four of its past five games. Jets 3, Devils 0: A defensive clampdown helped the Winnipeg Jets reverse their fortunes. The Jets allowed just 24 shots to the New Jersey Devils in a 3-0 win Sunday night at the MTS Centre. Winnipeg goalie Al Montoya was sharp while recording the shutout in his first action of the season. In the moments before Winnipeg left wing Evander Kane opened the scoring early in the second period, Montoya made a pad save on Devils right winger Michael Ryder during a New Jersey five-on-three power-play. Ducks 4, Senators 1: Corey Perry scored twice as the Anaheim Ducks coasted to a 4-1 victory over the Ottawa Senators before a sellout crowd of 17,177 at Honda Center. The Ducks (4-1) captured their fourth in a row and handed the Senators (1-2-2) their second straight setback. Anaheim set a club mark for shots on goal, recording 56 and breaking the previous mark of 54 set against the Edmonton Oilers on March 27, 2009. Ducks goalie Jonas Hiller turned back 30 shots, while Ottawa's Robin Lehner finished with 45 saves. Coyotes 5, Hurricanes 3: Rob Klinkhammer scored his first two goals of the season as the Phoenix Coyotes defeated the Carolina Hurricanes 5-3 at PNC Arena, winning their third game in a row. Klinkhammer's tiebreaking goal came 22 seconds into the third period, assisted by Zbynek Michalek and goalie Mike Smith. The Coyotes, wrapping up a five-game road trip, also received goals from Mikkel Boedker, Lauri Korpikoski and Shane Doan. In goal, Smith made 31 saves. — Agencies
