RAS AL-KHAIMAH, UAE — RAK Airways RT233 flight touched down at the King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh on Wednesday to a traditional water salute. In a statement to the press, Engr. Sheikh Salem Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Chairman of Department of Civil Aviation Ras Al-Khaimah and Vice-Chairman of RAK Airways, thanked the authorities of King Khalid International Airport and the Saudi media for their support to the young national carrier of United Arab Emirates. Authorities of King Khaled International Airport, Saudi media and management of Amikan Travels and Tours (GSA of RAK Airways) were present to celebrate the occasion. It was an honor to have Sheikh Abdullah Ibrahim Al-Omigan, Founder and Chairman of Amikan Travels and Tours, one of the leading travel agencies in the Kingdom's capital of Riyadh.
