JEDDAH — Nestlé Desserts Arabia has collected over SR55,500 for the National Home Healthcare Foundation, which will use the funds to buy medical equipment for patients such as beds, wheelchairs, respiratory equipment and oxygen tanks. The company collected the funds through its Ramadan initiative “Let's Fun Raise Together”. Lydia Gayino, brand manager, dairy category, Nestlé Middle East, said: “It is our pleasure, as part of Nestlé's ‘Creating Shared Value' initiative, to go hand-in-hand with our consumers to raise funds to contribute in helping the foundation achieve its objectives. “The initiative had a great turnout and showed that our consumers have generously participated and we wish to develop similar initiatives next year.” The month-long Ramadan campaign offered consumers the chance to enjoy an interactive online game, and for every correct entry Nestlé donated SR1 to the foundation. The application also allowed consumers to enter a weekly raffle draw to win prizes and have access to Arabic and international dessert recipes developed by a Nestlé chef.
