Vin Diesel gets a star

NEW YORK — Vin Diesel, best known for starring in the Fast & Furious film franchise, has received the 2,504th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
"I never thought it would be here in public on a corner, but I guess in some strange way, 30 years ago I made my living by dancing on corners like this with crowds smaller than this," he was quoted saying this at the ceremony.
Diesel, 46, was joined by several of his friends, including Fast & Furious co-star Michelle Rodriguez, Press Trust of India reported.
His next film "Riddick" is slated to hit theaters on September 6. He will also reprise his role in "Fast & Furious 7" which will be released in July 2014. — SG
