RAHA Al Moharrak, a young and adventurer Saudi lady raised high the name of her country, not only at a local level, but on the regional level as she is considered the first and youngest Saudi lady to climb the highest point in Mount Everest, and placed the Saudi flag at the peak. "As an Arabic woman and a Saudi one in particular, I see that some people discourage us… yet we achieve no matter what these accomplishments are. This is what made me accept the challenge, and I did my first climb on Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, which has a height of 5,895 meters above sea level, and then I was able to climb many different summits in Europe, South America and Antarctica, until I reached Mount Everest, the highest peak in the world at a height of 8848 meters above sea level." She further said "for me, climbing mountains is personal hobby. But what I did is to change the perspective of the world toward Arab women in general and Saudi women in particular, and that I could convince Arab women in conquering the impossible." Ayman Al Haffar, L'Azurde KSA Executive General Manager, expressed his pride in the accomplishment achieved by Raha. He said "we in L'Azurde are proud that we begin our program to honor pioneer women in the Arab world by honoring the heroine Raha Al Moharrak on her remarkable achievement, proving that women can cope with all the difficulties of life once they get the opportunity and full support from their families and community to which they belong, and we wish Raha more success in the future." L'Azurde presented Raha with a souvenir for her adventure. — SG
