Citroën C-Elysée: A breakthrough in French car making
Published in The Saudi Gazette on 17 - 08 - 2013

Building on 90 years of innovation, the Citroën brand has extended its product offer by introducing a new breakthrough addition to its C line, the Citroën C-Elysée. The Citroën C-Elysée reaps the full benefits of Citroën expertise in technology and design and is the embodiment of its Créative Technologie positioning.
As a modern and robust saloon car, the Citroën C-Elysée is a breakthrough in French car making, designed first and foremost to meet the needs of international markets.
Its innovative styling and features deliver on the needs of drivers looking for an attractive, affordable saloon car. The C-Elysée's eye-catching design highlights a spacious three-box body style and appealing details.
The front end immediately identifies the C-Elysée as a member of the Citroën brand family, with a large chrome signature emphasizing the enveloping, ribbed bonnet. The bodywork is both harmonious and striking, conveying a robust sense of presence with a high waistline, wide tracks and strongly curving wings. The Citroën C-Elysée saloon car ships in a choice of seven body colors, with chrome detailing depending on the level of trim.
Inside the car, elegant design details are also perceptible to passengers. The executive-style dashboard features a trim strip in front of the front passenger, while interior materials ensure quality and comfort. All materials were selected to be not only attractive, but also robust and easy to care for.
Tested on over 4 million kilometers of international roads, the Citroën C-Elysée demonstrates the brand expertise in running gear, quality and technology. Also illustrative of this is the new engine in the PureTech family, a VTi 72, designed for performance, fuel efficiency and durability.
The Citroën C-Elysée is part of the larger Citroën C range including models such as the C4, C4 Picasso, and C5. The Citroën C-Elysée is now available in Egypt through Ezz Elarab Automotive Group, Citroën's sole agent in Egypt. — SG
