Atoi Ramos and Vicky Vitug also sparkled to claim the best male and female bowlers of the week awards on the 7th week of the Riyadh International School (RIS) Saturday Family Bowling League, 3rd Conference at the InterCon Riyadh Hotel Bowling Center. The league is organized by the Filipino Bowling Group of Riyadh (FBGR) and supported by the ABS-CBN The Filipino Channel (TFC). Through the devastating form of the week's best male bowler Atoi Ramos the First Telecom ABB Tribe pulverized G.I. Joe's, 17-6, to maintain its standing as the undisputed league leader. Ramos posted a towering four-game series scratch of 873. He drilled 226, 237, 203 and 207 - average of 218. Louie Laguardia excelled too by contributing 833 points on lines of 232, 201, 212 and 188 while sharing the spotlight also were Ariel Feliciano, Mel Solas and Fe Divinagracia who poured separate series of 780, 701 and 604. Rey Pompa and Glenn Espiritu are the mentor and manger of the powerful First Telecom ABB Tribe. Posting the best score in G.I. Joe's, mentored by Buddy Balisi, was Fareed Aquino who carded a four-game series of 793. He was followed by Cas Encila and Cynthia Bacala who submitted separate series of 761 and 711. Doy del Moral scored 674 points while Jojo Miraflor had 457 series in three games. Mitsubishi Elevators dismantled Samba Financial Group through the sterling performance of the week's best female Vicky Vitug who exploded a four-game series of 824. Others who had good scores were Joe Ligon (740) and Donjie Mapalad (707). Jett Cabana shot 699 points and Efren Abuyo downed 495 points. Cely Mendoza and Bert Lopez rolled separate series of 619 and 609 to topscore in Samba Financial Group. Ed Robillos and Resty de Jesus scored 599 and 593 while Mike Benito downed 529 points. Wilson Bacala and Leo Mabunga registered 342 and 302. Karambola recorded another impressive victory against The Manila Bistro, 16-2 through the heroics of Mario Rivera (772), Jun Bantug (727), Beth Danganan (727) and Ric Tugonon (718). Ben Torrefiel and Larry Mondoy added 405 and 373. Gigi Enriquez led in The Manila Bistro with 708 points and he was followed by Dennis Mendoza (667), Alley Zacarias (656) and Fred Zacarias (601). Fe Ricalde posted 402 series in two games while Froi Rodriguez rolled 291 series in two games. D'Educators demolished Pares-Pares, 15-1 through the good games of Romy Zafe, Eddie Eder and Fred Dioquino. Zafe led in D'Educators by posting 742 points, followed by Eder (734) and Dioquino (724). Cecille Solomon snatched 651 points while Rolly Cleofe and Rizal Dellosa had separate series of 393 and 355. Fathi Abdulaziz was at the helm in Pares-Pares with 707 points and he was followed by Beybs Serafico (677) and Chito Llagas (626). Edgar Buenaventura and Edward Untalan carded 589 and 518 points respectively.
