Obesity and its relations to serious diseases: Causes and treatment

The problem of obesity is not just heavy weight and huge body, but it is fundamental problem, and is more dangerous with its adverse effects on the health and efficiency of the heart and arteries, liver, gall bladder, kidney, pancreas, skin, joints and breast cancer.
Obesity is one of the most dangerous factors that provide opportunities to infection with many of the most common diseases of our time such as high blood pressure, kidney failure, diabetes and angina.
The definition of
obesity or obesity:
Dr. Vivian Wehbe informs that obesity is the increase in the amount of fat that makes the body looks uncommon. There will be a problem if the body weight increases or exceeds the ideal weight by 15-18%.
Types of Obesity:
There are several classifications of obesity and they include the following: -
Category I:
This classification is divided into the following types: -
1 - Increases the number of fat cells: This is a type of obesity in children and as the body cannot reduce the number of fat cells when dieting to lose weight.
2 - Obesity, which is due to increase size of fat cells: This type of obesity is common in adults.
Category II:
This classification divides obesity into the following types:
Age Category: Any Category which depends on the age of the individual when obesity begins to emerge.

This category includes two types of obesity:
Type I: Affects children where obesity begins to emerge at an early age between the 4 and 11 years of age and characterized by abundant number of fat cells.
Type II: Obesity begins to emerge in the third decade of life and continues to increase until the fifth or sixth decade.
Geographical Classification: This depends on the accumulation of fat in the body places. If it is in the area of ??the chest and abdomen, it is called the anniversary type of obesity as this type is common among male, but if in the buttocks area then it's called the female gender, as it is common among women.

Symptoms of Obesity
Obesity is identified by symptoms such as:
High blood pressure and high cholesterol.
Lack of respiration rate
Causes of obesity or weight gain:
There are multiple factors that interact together and lead to weight gain, namely:
Lack of physical effort
Social and behavioral reasons: The behavior of individuals in our modern societies is one of the reasons in weight gain
Eating snacks between meals.
Too much sugar and fat.
The establishment of banquet and frequent eating foods in social and religious occasions.
l Genetic reasons: Characterized by obesity as a family recipe, it is difficult for us to separate the genetic and environmental factors for obesity. It is therefore necessary to encourage an active lifestyle if there is a willing person.
Physiological reasons: Lead to weight gain summed up as follows:
Forced fat glands.
Metabolism: Studies have pointed out in this area that the rate of combustion within the body in cases of obesity are lower than normal
The size and number of fat cells.
Digestive disorders
Age: Obesity may occur in life at any age. It is considered more common in women, where they become obese after pregnancy or when they reach menopause.
Damages and complications
of obesity:
It is noteworthy that the multiplicity of different views on the definition of elderly complications and risks as defined in:
Arthritis
Increase in the burden on the heart and circulatory system.
Hardening of the arteries and high blood pressure.
Diabetes.
Back pain is a common complaint associated with consistently obesity.

The structural composition of a person is not allowed to bear more of his energy and follows that overweight individuals usually lose the ability to move.
The difficulty of moving the body weight.
The difficulty of achieving the requirements for construction and activity of the muscles.

Overweight is usually accompanied by the accumulation of grease on the rib cage and under the diaphragm and therefore going slow in the process of breathing.
This breathing difficulty results to the following:
Lack of mental activity
Lack of physical activity: as a result, lack of oxygen connecting the muscle occurs, thus causing the muscles to contract and become unable to relax.

Obesity and diabetes:
To find out the prevalence of overweight and obesity among Saudis, of people diagnosed with diabetes and is living with diabetes, a sample of random people was examined from the same blood of fasting and two hours after giving load of glucose per participant. Prevalence of obesity was calculated in the sample as a whole, as well as in people with diabetes and people with diabetes of males and females separately. The results showed the presence of obesity and overweight in 13.05% and 27.23% of the males and in 20.26% and 25.20% of females, respectively.
Obesity and heart disease:
Overweight and obesity are the biggest risk factors for cardiovascular disease, which occupies the top diseases causing death. In the ratio which calculated body mass, waist circumference and waist-length ratio and waist buttock, it was found that obese people are at a higher rate of infection with high blood pressure and increased cholesterol kidney.
Obesity and High
Blood Pressure:
The rate of hypertension among obese is up to three times compared to the rate of ordinary and weight reduction-seeking people. While minimizing the intake of salt when the blood pressure improves is in the range of up to 50%.
The effective treatment of obesity is changing one's life pattern, following the methods of proper food and health without enhancement, daily exercise and drugs that can be used such as Orlistat (Xenical ) to prevent the absorption of harmful fats to the health of the heart and the body.
