JEDDAH – Nexen Tire Corporation, with headquarters in Yangsan, South Korea, has announced that its plant located in Shang Yang has raised production capacity by 40 percent to more than 10 million tires per year, compared to estimated 6 million tires last year. In a statement, the company also revealed plans to increase production capacity to more than 21 million tires per annum by 2018. Nexen Factory, which is known as one of the most sophisticated factory in the world, covers an area of more than half a million square meters, equivalent to an area of 46 football courts.
