Now that we have established how to move electricity, we need to make it. One way to produce electricity is to use a generator. In the most basic of generators, a wire coil rotates between the two poles of a magnet. As the wires criss-cross the magnetic field generated by the magnet, electrons start flowing around in the coil, forming a current. The power of this current is called the voltage (measured in volts), and its intensity is called amperage (measured in amperes). __
