Qatar World Cup a mistake

I am writing with regard to the article "Awarding World Cup to Qatar a mistake – Zwanziger" (July 25). Qatar is known to be spending enormous amounts of money on preparations for the World Cup. It will be the costliest FIFA World Cup ever held. Is it all worth it when issues such as those in the article have been raised? Qatar can well put that money to much more profitable ventures. It is certain that Western football players in particular will be affected by the extreme heat if they play in the summer in Qatar.
