With reference to the article "Housemaid held for torturing child" (July 23), I would like to point out that not so many years ago people discussed not allowing Indonesian maids in the Kingdom any longer and people were encouraged to recruit from other countries. But now in hearing stories nearly every day such as the one in this article, people are beginning to think that perhaps the Indonesian maids were not so bad at all. But a word of advice to all: do not leave your children alone with strangers and do not use maids as nannies for which they were not employed. Bravo, Online response
