It seems that the same news channel Al-Jazeera which used to broadcast audio and video messages from Osama Bin Laden can now take pride in publishing part of the Abbottabad Commission report. This inquiry commission was set up by the previous Pakistani government to investigate how Bin Laden was able to live undetected for so many years in Pakistan, and how the US was able to raid his highly fortified residence on the outskirts of the Pakistan army's prestigious academy. A complete report is not yet available, and therefore it is difficult to evaluate the commission's remarks that culprits have been named in the report. They may include those who because of criminal negligence or simple corruption made it possible for Bin Laden to find a sanctuary in Abbottabad. However, a few things are very clear: A number of Al-Qaeda operatives have been arrested in Pakistan and others have been killed by the Pakistan army or by American drone strikes on tribal areas. But how the most wanted person in the world could have remained under the intelligence radar for almost a decade will continue to raise many questions. But we must remember that the search for these terrorists is not over. The world is still waiting for Mullah Umar and Ayman Zawahiri to face the music. It is high time for Pakistani intelligence and security agencies to catch these men and others or else there may be another May 2 morning with many red faces. Masood Khan, Jubail
