JEDDAH — The “Bazme Tulaba-E-Qadeem Wa Muhibban-E-Jamia Nizamia (Old Boys Association of Jamia Nizamia)” is conducting short term courses in Islamic Studies for young boys to promote Islamic awareness. The course, which began on June 30, will continue until July 31. The timings of the course are 7:30 pm to 10:00 pm from Saturday to Thursday. Experienced teachers will teach and practically train in performing Wudoo, prayers, Qirat and Tajweed, memorization of the Qur'an, jurisprudence, recitation of Hamd and Naat. Upon completion of the courses, a Quiz competition on Islamic knowledge will also be held. In a meeting chaired by Mohammed Naveed Afroz Naveed, president of the association, and other committee members — Mohammed Khan, president Youth, Mohammed Saleem Quadri, Mohammed Aijaz, Mohammed Wali Qadri, Mohammed Derwas Mohiuddin, and Mohammed Abdullah — a grand award distribution ceremony will be hosted at a local restaurant on August 1.
