Zain KSA was honored by King Faisal Specialist Hospital in Riyadh for supporting various awareness campaigns held by the hospital, including the current blood donation campaign, which witnessed a blood donating event held in the company's headquarters in Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam. The company said this event comes as part of its participation in the activities of World Blood Donor Day which is celebrated every year on June 14. The company also worked on raising awareness of the importance of blood donation among employees, via various messages motivating them to join the world in this initiative. This year marks the 10th anniversary of World Blood Donor Day, and the campaign focuses this year on blood donation as a gift that saves lives, and aims to achieving self-sufficiency in safe blood and blood products based on 100 percent voluntary unpaid blood donation.
