The slogan for this iPhone and Android app is “free language education for the world.” Spanish, French, Italian, English, German and Portuguese are on offer. Does it work? An eight week study was independently conducted to assess the effectiveness of the app as a language learning tool. The study found that the app was more effective than a semester of introductory language learning.
