With regard to the letter “Lack of exercise a killer in Saudi Arabia” (May 31), I feel that sports and health and fitness should be promoted in schools at an early age. Teachers need to be trained at college level and facilities need to be built into school designs. The sciences dealing with the benefits of sport need to be in the curriculum of schools and sporting role models need to be promoted in schools to help inspire students.
