PRAGUE — Nicholas Kemboi of Qatar won the Prague International Marathon Sunday while Caroline Rotich of Kenya claimed the women's race. Kemboi pulled away about six kilometers from the end to complete the race in 2 hours, 8 minutes and 51 seconds. Girmay Birhanu of Ethiopia finished second in 2:09:30 while and Patrick Kipyegon Terer of Kenya was third in 2:10:10. Rotich finished in 2:27:00 ahead of another Kenyan runner Philes Moraa Ongori and Ehitu Kiros of Ethiopia. A record crowd of about 9,500 runners participated in the 19th edition of the race. Before the start, the runners observed a minute of silence for the victims of the Boston Marathon bombings. — AP
