RIYADH — Saudi Arabia offered condolences to Azerbaijan over the plane crash that happened in the western Kazakh city of Aktau. In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the sincere condolences and sympathy of Saudi Arabia to the families of the deceased as well as to the government and people of Azerbaijan following the plane crash. The ministry wished a speedy recovery to those injured in the mishap. At least 29 people have survived after a plane, carrying 67 people on board, burst into flames after crashing near the Kazakh city of Aktau on Wednesday. The plane was traveling from the Azerbaijani capital Baku to Grozny in the Russian region of Chechnya.
