RIYADH — Saudi Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif held an official discussion session with Pakistan's Minister of Interior and Minister of Narcotics Control Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi at the ministry's headquarters in Riyadh on Monday. During the meeting, they discussed ways to further enhance security cooperation between the two countries, especially with regard to combating drug smuggling. A number of topics of common interest were also figured in their talks. At the outset of the discussion session, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud welcomed his Pakistani counterpart and his accompanying delegation to the Kingdom. He emphasized that this meeting came based on the directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman to enhance security cooperation in light of the distinguished relations that bind the two countries. The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister of Interior Dr. Nasser Al-Daoud, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior Dr. Khalid Al-Batal, Director of Public Security Lt. Gen. Mohammed Al-Bassami, Director General of Drug Control Maj. Gen. Mohammed Al-Qarni, Director General of the Minister's Office for Studies and Research Maj. Gen. Khalid Al-Arwan, Director General of Passports Maj. Gen. Dr. Saleh Al-Murabba, and Director General of Legal Affairs and International Cooperation Ahmed Al-Issa. The Pakistani side was attended by Ambassador to the Kingdom Ahmad Farooq, Director General of Passports and Immigration Mustafa Jamal Qazi, and Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior Rifat Mukhtar Rajab.
