Speaking at the 45th session of the GCC Supreme Council, hosted by Kuwait, Al-Said reiterated Oman's commitment to advancing cooperation across all fields to bolster regional security and stability while addressing pressing issues. He extended heartfelt congratulations to the Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, on assuming the presidency of the current GCC session, and expressed gratitude for the warm reception and hospitality. Al-Said also acknowledged the leadership of Qatar's Emir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, in successfully managing the 44th session of the GCC Supreme Council. Conveying greetings from Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman, Al-Said lauded the achievements of the GCC since its inception, particularly in economic, social, legislative, and scientific domains. He urged greater efforts to enhance cooperation and integration among Gulf nations, united by a shared history. Al-Said concluded by expressing appreciation to GCC Secretary General Jassem Al-Budaiwi and the General Secretariat for their meticulous organization of the summit, wishing them success in building a brighter future.
