The Saudi Investment Group will build the hugest commercial complex in the region at Aden Free Zone (AFZ) amounting to $150 million. Deputy Chairman of the General Authority of Free Zones, the chairman of AFZ Abdul-Jalil Al-Showibi said the project would be carried out on about 10 hectares in (G) sector including commercial centers and service and entertainment services. Al-Showibi indicated that a number of Saudi investors voiced their desire to invest in the AFZ in domains of industry, storage and tourism. He said that the Saudi investors expressed their admiration to the facilities presented by the Yemeni investment law as well as the efforts exerted by the AFZ's leadership to improve the zone.
