Month-long "Wonderland" festival to begin in Jeddah on Monday

JEDDAH — Jeddah is preparing to host a month-long exceptional entertainment festival called "Wonderland", which will begin on Monday, Nov. 11 and will run through until Dec. 10.
The festival will offer 30 days full of fun and diverse experiences, catering to the taste of families and all segments of society. The festival, located along King Abdulaziz Road, will be organized by the Jeddah Events Calendar Department.
The "Wonderland" festival would feature a bunch of activities and events that suit different age groups. The festival is expected to attract up to 7,000 visitors daily, making it a major attraction for entertainment lovers in the region.
Through an innovative design that combines culture and entertainment, the festival is expected to bring an inspiring atmosphere that enhances individuals' participation in creative activities and cultural interaction. The zone includes 10 carefully designed areas, varying between interactive shows, modern games, and entertainment experiences that put visitors in the heart of an atmosphere full of excitement and fun.
The zone is also equipped with facilities and services suitable for families to ensure an integrated and safe entertainment experience. The zones include Forest Wonders, Let's Play, Scary Circus, Fun Carnival, Wonder Job, Joyful Beach, Fly and Enjoy, Wonder Theater, Food and Beverage Zone, and Shopping Zone.
This festival represents a major step towards achieving the goals of Vision 2030, which aims to develop the entertainment sector to become an economic and tourism tributary that contributes to improving the quality of life for citizens, residents and visitors alike, in addition to enhancing the infrastructure for entertainment events in the Kingdom, supporting creative industries, and making the Kingdom a leading destination for entertainment and tourism at the regional and global levels in order to ensure the comfort of visitors and meet their needs.
The festival timing varies during weekends and working days. It will start from 4 pm to midnight during weekdays, and extend until 1:30 am on weekends, thus providing everyone with the opportunity to enjoy this unique experience at flexible times, the Saudi Press Agency reported
