BASEL — The Saudi Commission for Health Specialties concluded its participation in the Association for Medical Education in Europe (AMEE) 2024 Conference in Basel, Switzerland, on Wednesday, highlighting its achievements in health education, the Saudi Board Certificate, and professional examinations. During the conference, the Commission presented its experiences and successes in health education to specialists and professionals from around the world. The Commission's pavilion at the exhibition provided insights into its history, objectives, and role in enhancing professional health performance across various specialties. It also showcased its support for over 700,000 registered health practitioners working in the sector. The pavilion emphasized modern teaching methods used in postgraduate programs, including the Saudi Board Certificate, which foster distinguished educational environments for trainers based on the latest health education principles. The Commission highlighted the impact of the Saudi Board since its inception, noting that its programs have graduated over 30,000 health practitioners in 200 specialties, accredited more than 2,100 training programs, and established over 110 training centers. Currently, approximately 19,900 trainees are enrolled in Saudi Board programs.
