The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) apprehends unfolding of a two-pronged Pakistan People's Party (PPP) strategy to deal with the Sharif brothers (Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif) after the September 6 presidential election. As per this strategy, the PPP, which will be exceptionally confident after Asif Zardari's election as president, will make a concerted bid to get the Sharif brothers disqualified through the Supreme Court where their eligibility or election has been challenged, and oust their government in Punjab. “We can't stop the ruling party from embarking on a collision course if it has decided so, but we will defend ourselves without resorting to any undemocratic means. We are not scared,” prominent PML-N leader Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan told this correspondent. PPP insiders say that several party leaders from Punjab, who are mainly eying short term gains, are keen to remove the Shahbaz Sharif government in the Punjab province and keep pushing the central party leadership towards this end. They particularly name Governor Salman Taseer and Advisor Manzoor Wattoo in this connection. __
