The Madinah Health Cluster has launched an awareness campaign to educate visitors to the Prophet's Mosque about heat stress, coinciding with increasing temperatures in the region. The campaign focused on avoiding direct sunlight during peak hours (10 am to 4 pm), recognizing and preventing heat stress, identifying heatstroke symptoms, and seeking prompt medical attention. On the first day, the health cluster distributed to 12,000 visitors 3,500 bags of ice, 10,300 water bottles, 4,850 umbrellas, and 3,297 medical kits. Proactively preparing for the summer heat, the Madinah Health Cluster equipped several city health facilities with 32 beds for treating heat stress and sunstroke cases. — SPA
