MAKKAH — The "Makkah Route" initiative, under the Ministry of Interior's Pilgrim Experience Program which aligns with the Kingdom's Vision 2030, concluded its operations for this year's Hajj season. The program facilitated the arrival of pilgrims from Malaysia, Pakistan, Türkiye, Morocco, and Indonesia into Saudi Arabia to partake in the 1445 AH Hajj rituals. Serving pilgrims across 11 airports in seven countries — Morocco, Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Türkiye, and Cote d'Ivoire — the initiative ensured a seamless travel experience. This included the issuance of electronic Hajj visas, fingerprinting, health requirement checks, and efficient handling of luggage coded for specific transportation and accommodation arrangements in Saudi Arabia. Upon their arrival, pilgrims were promptly transported to their accommodations in Makkah and Madinah, with their luggage directly delivered by partner agencies.
