The match saw Al-Nassr dominating from the start with an early goal by their Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo in the 17th minute, exploiting a defensive error by Al-Khaleej's goalkeeper Ibrahim Sehic, who mishandled a pass from his teammate Ezekiel Lopez.
