A mentally ill man shot himself to death with an AK-47 in a mosque in the Shwass area. One of the neighbors saw the mosque was open when it was not time for prayer and informed her neighbors who went to investigate. The man was found dead with medicines and SR7,000 in cash. A police team including Col. Abdullah Al-Sa'eeri, head of Investigations in Al-Balqarn Police visited the scene. The body was taken to Sabt Al-Alaya Hospital morgue pending completion of burial procedures. Realtives of the deceased gave concent in writing that he had committed suicide. – Okaz __
