The General Authority for the Care of the Two Holy Mosques is harnessing all services to ensure the comfort of God's guests while performing their rituals. The Authority is keen to achieve guests' satisfaction with the quality of provided services, which is being offered within an ambitious vision of joint work between the participating parties to serve the visitors through integrated coordination while benefiting from modern technologies. Among the services it provides is intensifying the works of washing, sterilizing the Grand Mosque in Makkah, its roof, courtyards, and facilities, and preparing it for visitors and worshipers. The washing operation is being carried out 10 times per day by a staff of 4,000 male and female workers supervised by 200 Saudi supervisors working around the clock. More than 1,000 equipment and machines are also operated to participate in the washing work throughout the day, bringing the capacity to 1,600,000 worshippers. Permanently, before every prayer in the Grand Mosque, 120 engineers and technicians operate the audio network for 8,000 speakers inside the Makkah's Holy Mosque and its courtyards. There are also 3,516 toilets, and more than 35,000 new carpets in all the prayer halls and courtyards of the Grand Mosque. This is in addition to 3,000 handcarts and 2,000 electric carts, 6,000 cart pushers, and several other things. The Authority works to facilitate the visitors' experience by providing all facilities and capabilities, and developing infrastructure projects in the Two Holy Mosques. Due to the importance of facilitating services for visitors, Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 included objectives concerned with raising the efficiency of serving the guests of God. This includes hosting 30 million visitors and pilgrims annually, and working to improve and develop the services provided to them in the Two Holy Mosques. This would contribute to achieving the appropriate environment, facing challenges and overcoming obstacles in the journey of the guests of God from arrival until departure.
