WASHINGTON — Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal Bin Farhan met on Friday with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken. The meeting included a review of the bilateral relations between the Kingdom and the United States, as well as discussions on developments in the Gaza Strip and its surrounding areas, along with several regional issues of mutual interest. The Saudi minister emphasized the importance of taking urgent steps to halt the conflict in Gaza, exerting all possible efforts to reduce the escalation and ensure the violence does not spread, to prevent its serious repercussions on international security and peace. He also stressed the need to create conditions for stability to return and restore the path to peace, ensuring that the Palestinian people obtain their legitimate rights. Furthermore, he urged increased efforts to secure relief corridors for the urgent delivery of humanitarian, food, and medical aid to the Gaza Strip.
