The draw saw Al Ahli increase their point tally to 27, securing the third position, while Al Shabab moved to 16 points, occupying the tenth spot in the league standings. In another fixture, Al Wehda secured a 3-1 victory over Al Khaleej. Odion Ighalo opened the scoring for Al Wehda in the third minute, Fabio Martins equalized for Al Khaleej in the 22nd minute from a penalty, and Ighalo regained the lead for Al Wehda in the 58th minute.
