BRATISLAVA — Saudi Arabia and Slovakia have signed an agreement to avoid double taxation. The agreement was signed by Saudi Arabia's Economy and Planning Minister Faisal Al-Ibrahim, on behalf of Finance Minister Mohamed Al-Jadaan, who also serves as the Chairman of the Board of Director of the Zakat, Tax, and Customs Authority (ZATCA) The agreement comes within efforts to provide tax exemptions to government investments, which will contribute to fair treatment and equal opportunities for investors in both countries. It will also contribute to strengthening economic relations and cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Slovakia. The agreement was signed during an official visit paid by the Saudi minister to Slovakia.
