AMMAN — Saudi Arabia's Foreign Minister Prince Faisal Bin Farhan participated in meetings, held in Amman, Jordan, with his Arab and American counterparts to stop military escalation in Gaza During the Arab Coordination Meeting, which aimed to coordinate the efforts to stop the Israeli war on Gaza and the humanitarian catastrophe it is causing, the foreign ministers discussed developments in the dangerous situation in Gaza and its surroundings. The Arab Coordination Meeting also touched on the urgent role of the international community in carrying out its responsibilities towards stopping military operations in Gaza, in a way that contributes to stopping the blood of innocent civilians. The Arab meeting, in addition, sought to find a just and comprehensive solution that meets the aspirations of the Palestinians. Furthermore, the Saudi foreign minister participated in the Arab-US meeting, during which, they discussed the Arab position calling for stopping the military escalation that led to the killing of innocents, and to immediately and urgently deliver the humanitarian aid to the region. The Arab-American meeting also discussed the Arab position calling for working to create conditions for the return of stability, as well as restoring the peace path to ensure that the Palestinians obtain their legitimate rights and achieve just and lasting peace. After the end of the two meetings, King Abdullah II of Jordan received, at Al-Husseiniya Palace, Prince Faisal Bin Farhan, and the heads of the Arab delegations, participants in the Amman meeting. During the reception, the Jordanian King and the ministers discussed developments in the ongoing situation in Gaza and its surroundings, as well as international efforts made to defuse tension, and ways to protect unarmed civilians from the escalating military operations during the recent period. They also touched on the process of joint Arab action, cooperation and coordination between its countries and ways to advance it in a way that benefits the peoples of the Arab countries.
